Just a little about the Lawn Mower Repair Man. Bob Solesbee is the name. This past July was my 51st year on planet earth. Las Vegas has been home since 1981, which is when I entered the field of small engine repair. Well, that's not 100% true as I'd worked on concession track go-karts part time for around 5 years prior.

Southern California is where I grew up, mostly in Rialto. Over the years mobile home assembly lines and driving lumber trucks were amoung prior job experiences. In the mid 70's I raced go-karts in what was known as "reed heavy macs". Never was very good at it but just like my earler days surfing the S. Cal beaches, I had a lot of fun trying.

Today, recreation consists of following motor sports in general, primarily NASCAR and working on this site or surfing the web for ideas and knowledge. I attended my first NASCAR race in 67 at the old Riverside International Raceway in Riverside Cal. When time permits, camping is the peace and quiet that draws a perfect balance for putting aside the noise and mayhem of working in a lawn mower shop.

I'm a Briggs and Stratton certified M.S.T. (Master Service Technician) and an O.P.E.I. (Outdoor Power Equipment Institute) 2 cycle certified tech. The vast majority of my experience has been with home use power equipment, including those commercial versions used by commercial lawn cutters. About 4 years ago I started this web site with my little webtv box, for the purpose of learning how to use the internet. Well, financial requirments have kept that old webtv+ around a lot longer then desired. My plan is to someday go on to bigger and better things when a more usable computer can be afforded but for now, I'm still learning a ton with this half a computer. It's a lot like equipment repair, the more I learn the more I realize how little I know.

I hope you find my pages useful and thanks for stopping by. If you have comments or ideas, I can be reached at LMRM@NevadaWalrus.com
