"Low Lifes"

4/8/01

No, you don't know who you are, you can read this and think it's about someone else. But you're a low life pile of dung. You'll go off with your chain saw and long after the chain is well dulled, you'll just keep on forcing the issue. OK, well maybe you just had to finish that job. What I want to know, you incredible heap of horse refuse, is how you come off expecting to get that half destroyed chain sharpened and get it back looking like new? You dumb dip stick! You see that? Do you see how far back the chrome plating has been peeled back and the tooth rounded off? Well do ya? To make that tooth sharp again, over one third of usable tooth is going to have to be removed. All of the rounding, all of the peeled chrome plating has to be ground or filed back. But what are you going to say when you pick it up? You're going to rag on me with the claim that "I've" destroyed your chain. You lame brained idiot! Yeah, Right! Don't you think it's time you zipped your fly?

OK, I'm contained now. I know most techs have heard this complaint from customers before. It's one of the little aggravations that really sets me off, far more then it probably should. The point I'd like to get across is not to jump to conclusions when you get a chain back from being sharpened. The more sharpenings you get out of a chain, the more the shop doing it for you profits. More then selling you a new one when the old is worn out. So removing more then needed is counter profit. I ain't going to remove more then has to, it takes less time to remove less as well.

But you're not going to believe any off this are you slime ball.
